Hello Friends,
Mary Brack did the devotional study and art for Advent Day 7 (December 5) at His Kingdom Come. The song was "Born to Set Thy People Free".
I recently started reading the book of John in the Passion Translation. Last night's reading was John 3, where Jesus tells Nicodemus that he needs to be re-born - a supernatural birth in the spirit. It seemed very timely with yesterday's devotional and song so I did my art based on the miracle of rebirth.
My journal pages are used Christmas cards. My facing page had a personal note from my sister, who passed away in 2009. I did not want to cover that up and it also influenced what I wrote on the tag at the top of the page. (Did you know that Sharpie markers smear on glossy card?)
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope to get caught up with my Advent posts in the next couple of days.
Blessing hugs,
Teresa
