Hello Friends,
Dear Hummie wrote the inspiring devotional for the His Kingdom Come Advent celebration today. She spoke of how a bride-to-be goes through months a preparation and joyful anticipation of her wedding day. And then how the groom waits eagerly for those doors to swing open and to see his incomparable bride on the arm of her father. It is the Father of Lights himself who will lead the Bride of Christ up the aisle to her groom - the Most Holy One - Yeshua, Jesus.
Blessing hugs,
Teresa

Dear Hummie wrote the inspiring devotional for the His Kingdom Come Advent celebration today. She spoke of how a bride-to-be goes through months a preparation and joyful anticipation of her wedding day. And then how the groom waits eagerly for those doors to swing open and to see his incomparable bride on the arm of her father. It is the Father of Lights himself who will lead the Bride of Christ up the aisle to her groom - the Most Holy One - Yeshua, Jesus.
Revelation 22:17 says: The Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes, take the water of life without cost.
This is not an arranged marriage. We who are the Bride of Christ know him to whom we are betrothed. We have tasted his goodness. We have had shy glimpses of his beauty through the mysterious veil that separates this earthly life from our true life in heaven. These momentarily glimpses, these tiny tastes of eternity, are what make our hearts cry out, "Even so, Lord Jesus, come!"
I came across these little red maple leafs today when I was looking for something else. They are paper die cuts and I don't remember from where they came. On an impulse, I started laying them on and around my bride. I am Canadian, so it seemed to me that my art had become a prayer on behalf of the Bride of Christ. I went with it because... sometimes... you just should. :)
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you are enjoying my Advent posts. Some of you have left such wonderful comments, I wish I could reach out and hug you. Thank you. You don't know how much your kind words have blessed me.Blessing hugs,
Teresa

Surely wonderful creations. Thanks a lot for joining last week's Challenge and would love to see you again this week at Word Art Wednesday. Leaving you with an encouragement found in Psalm 125:2 which tells us, "As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore." Have a great day!
Hugs always,
