TMD - Week 3

Hello Friends,

A funny thing happened last week when I was trying to catch up with my Take Me Deeper bible studies on His Kingdom Come. I actually ended up re-doing the same study. But that was fine because I got something slightly different each time. This is the page I did most recently. The bible verse is 2 Corinthians 3:18.
I used a magazine cut-out and her 'veil' is a used dryer sheet. I love using those to add texture to mixed media pieces, usually by decoupaging them to my surface. I thought this made a convincing wedding veil, as though being lifted from her face. Can you see the coloured tag I tucked under her veil? It has my Logos365 phrase (make space) application on it.

When I focus on myself all I can see is all of my lack of beauty. Only when I gaze upon my beautiful Jesus do I start to see myself the way He sees me - a beautiful, spotless bride, created in his glorious image.

And here is the first layout I did for this study, previously published on my blog, Tickell Expressions. You can see details of it here.
Thank you for stopping by. I appreciate you taking the time to visit and I hope I have inspired you in some way.

Blessing hugs,
Teresa
